Special Info |
Sister Hazel Adina Jackson affectionately known as “Baby Girl” and “Ms G” was born January 29th, 1941 to the late Albert and Melgene Jackson in Portland, Bangaridge, Jamaica West Indies, where she attended the Bangaridge All Age School. She was the youngest of six children who include four sisters and one brother. She was predeceased by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Jackson, her son Alvin, two of her four sisters Louise and Venetia Jackson. Hazel is the proud mother of three children, Patricia (Pat), Alvin (Steve), and Lorna (Debbie).
Hazel came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior in 1987. She was filled with the Holy Ghost in her home during a routine house to house ministry visit with the saints from Pentecostal Tabernacle (Wildman Street). She was then baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and continues to walk with the Lord until the day of her passing.
Hazel was a dressmaker/Seamstress while living in Jamaica. After migrating to the USA in 1997, her first job was babysitting. Then she attended Allen Healthcare School on Hillside Avenue and became a certified Home Health Aide.
Hazel has touched the lives of many people with her smile and personality. Her kind, gentle and jovial personality will forever be remembered by her two daughters Patricia and Lorna, grand-daughter Felicia, son-in-law Kenneth Grange, her other two sisters Islin Jackson-Clark and Vera Jackson-Davis, her brother Kenneth Jackson and a whole host of other relatives and friends. May her Soul Rest in Peace!
