The funeral service for the late Marjorie Bazemore will be held on Monday July 1st, 2019 at the Miracle Christian Center. The viewing will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm following, the service which will begin at 7:00pm.

Special Info  Majorie Mae Bazemore was born on January 7, 1927 in Windsor, North Carolina to the late Elijah and Elizabeth Bazemore. She was one of 9 children. Majorie attended the Bertie County School system. On January 31, 1947 she married the late Roland Hayes Bazemore. From that union came Diane and Harriet Bazemore. Majorie worked briefly at Sunshine Biscuits cookie company, but decided she wanted to be a home maker. Majorie slayed when it came to fashion. She loved to wear beautiful hats, coats, dresses and shoes. She kept her daughters dresses the same way from a very young age. Majorie loved God and the word of God. She was a graduate of the Tabernacle of Prayer Bible Institute and Bethel Bible Institute, both in Queens. She ministered as an evangelist at the then Holy Trinity Church and Victory Temple Pentecostal Church, both in Queens. She was a prayer warrior. She often would stay up praying all night long. Her passion was winning souls. Wherever she went. You could always find her at the subway stations and post office giving out tracts and ministering. The anointing on Marjorie’s life allowed her to fulfill her desire to care for foster children for 20 years. Many of the children had domestic and addiction challenges. Marjorie’s love, faith and prayers bought deliverance to many of these children’s lives. Marjorie’s health began to slightly fail prior to her entering the Margaret Tietz Nursing Home in 2012. Her daughters maintained dedicated to their mother in her care. God released Marjorie from her pain and suffering and called her home on June 24, 2019 at 9:35 P.M. During a time of song and prayer. At the very moment God saw fit to allow her to depart peacefully in his presence. Marjorie is preceded in death by her sisters Celeste, Vashti, Louise, Florine, Sue and her brothers Thorel and Thurman. She leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters Diane and Harriet. Her grandson Paul, great grandsons Paul, Tyrell, Quincy, Brice, Kyle and great great grand Aubrey and Lexington. Brother in law Robert Carter and host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to acknowledge and thank the expressions of love, concern, sympathy and kindness. Thank you especially to the staff and hospice care at the Margaret Tietz Nursing Home. She will Truly be missed.
