Special Info  Rosetta Elizabeth's OBITUARY Rosetta Elizabeth Waiters -Boyd- Morris was born December 27, 1944 in (Harlem) Manhattan, ,New York to the late William and Clarissa Waiters. She was the eldest of four children born to this union. Rosetta became the Matriarch of the family after the passing of our beloved mother in 2019. Rosetta passed away in her sleep on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 7:09 p.m. at North Shore Jewish Hospital in New York at the age of seventy-six years old. The Waiters children were raised in the Bronx and attended Elementary, Middle school and High school all located in the Bronx. Rosetta had four children whom she adored and they were the joy of her life. There was a family joke that whenever you saw Rosetta coming with Bobby, Karen, Tony and Clarissa aka “Moohie” plus, carrying her television you knew she was coming to stay for a while. Rosetta met and married Jimmy Boyd who adopted her children and they shared many wonderful years together as a family. In her later years she decided to go back to school. She attended two years of Culinary School and graduated with “Honors”. Rosetta could cook anything especially Macaroni & Cheese, her famous Collard Greens and Candied Yams were her specialties. She would feed anyone that wanted a plate of food. Every day was like a Holiday at the Boyd’s household, she would have her children, nephews, nieces, as well as, the neighborhood children always coming to visit. Rosetta and Betty Ann were more than sisters they were best friends. Every Easter, Thanksgiving, Halloween, Christmas and definitely every Birthday our children celebrated together. The sisters where so close that when one sister would move and the other sister would move also, this way they would be together at all times. They continued to follow this same pathway until Rosetta moved to Queens and Betty Ann remained in the Bronx. Rosetta met and married for a second time to Reginald (Reggie) Morris they shared a special union for many years. Rosetta Elizabeth enjoyed her life to the fullest and “She did it her way” and with no regrets. Preceding her in death were her parents William and Clarissa Waiters, her brother William (Junior) son Anthony, granddaughters: Shamika Boyd and Miracle Rose LeBron, .Jimmy Boyd (Husband) Cleveland Vinson (Brother-In-Law).
