Annie H. Mack, 81, was born to the late Ellen
Morris on November 12, 1939 in Harnett
County, North Carolina. Annie completed her
formal education at Shaw Town High School
in Lillington, North Carolina. She later moved
to New York City where she worked at Ideal
Corporation and Amtrack until she retired.
She was blessed with one daughter Michelle
C. Pounds.
On Monday afternoon, July 19, 2021 tired and
weary, her spirit filled soul took its flight
across deaths stream, where at this moment
she rests from her labor, but her memory will
forever live in the hearts and minds of those
who loved and knew her.
Annie was preceded in death by Eddie Lee
Mack (husband), Ellen Morris (mother) and James Clifford Chambers (brother).
She leaves to cherish her memories:) one
daughter Michelle Pounds, (Curtis Pounds) of
Jamaica, NY: one granddaughter, Tiana
Pounds of Jamaica, NY: one grandson, Curtis
Demetrius Pounds of Jamaica, NY: three great
grandkids, Chyna Branch of Jamaica, NY,
Kameron Jones of Jamaica, NY and Amayah
Strickland of Rosedale, NY; Rosa Bryant of
Florida, a very special person and dear friend
for years and a person whom she grew up
with, who was like a brother, Cornelius “Neat”
McKoy (Florence) of Dunn, North Carolina; a
host of nieces, cousins and many friends. |
