Special Info  Reginald Gauthier passed away on Monday, April 6, 2022, in Binghamton New York where he resided for more than twenty years. He was a loving Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin and Friend who was known by many names to his loved ones and friends. Some of the more common names were "Reg","Reggie" and "Spark." And he was just that. He brought life and laughter to everyone he came in contact with. Reginald was born on October 27, 1972 in the island of Haiti to the parents of Saint Louis Gauthier and Lolita Gauthier. At the age of two, Reginald migrated to Brooklyn, New York. From an early age, he was playful, friendly, respectful and most of all funny and those traits continued to flourish throughout his life. If you were around him, you were bound to laugh. At the age of 3, he began his schooling at Saint Teresa Elementary school in Brooklyn, New York but was eventually transferred to Saint Catherine Elementary school after moving to Queens, New York at the age of seven. In 1983, Reginald attended middle school at P.S. 231 followed by Springfield High School. He loved to play sports especially basketball and began to be well known in the community for his bright spirit. In the late 1990's, Reginald moved to Binghamton, New York where he continued to be a respectable person and of course a social butterfly. Throughout the years, he spread his lively spirit throughout his occupations especially as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Years later he switched careers and was employed by J & K Plumbing & Heating, where he worked last. Reginald carried love in his heart for people, always willing to help in anyway he could. He was influential and motivational and most of all he loved his family. On his spare time he loved to read, listen to music, experience nature and go to the amusement park with his children. Reginald was preceded in death by: parents, Saint Louis Gauthier and Lolita Gauthier; children, Anayo Gauthier, Janan Gauthier, Rahtory Gauthier, Elijah Gauthier, Chakra Gauthier, Malachi Gauthier, Sevyn Gauthier, and Izayah Gauthier; brothers, Edgar Louis Gauthier, Wadler Gauthier and Brian Gauthier Reginald we will always carry your memory in our hearts. We love you and will miss you very much.
