2pm-3pm followed by Funeral Service at 3pm.

Special Info  Alston Anderson Chin, Sr., a.k.a. Rock was born in May Pen, Clarendon, Jamaica on September 25, 1952, to predeceased parents Ferdie Chin and Myrtle “Dolly” Powell. Rock grew up in Jamaica where he attended Palmer Cross All Age, then Teacher Whiteman Academy. He pursued a course in mechanical engineering. He had his first child, Al, shortly after graduating. He came to the United States in the mid-late 1970s with his first wife, Sonia Lewis. They originally resided in New York, where they had two children, Sheryl and Alston, Jr. Several years later, Rock would move with his family to Florida. After separating with his first wife, Rock would subsequently move back to New York. Juggling life and work, Rock would have 3 daughters Courtney, Briannah, and Raquel in New York. Rock had a love for cars and would spend most of his time working on them. He worked for Bobby’s Mechanic Shop for over 30 years. Rock’s life came full circle after he met his current wife, Donette Shaw. She provided him with love, stability, and companionship. And with love in their hearts and smiles on their faces, married on December 6, 2020, with plans of a great future. Sadly, after falling ill, Rock would succumb to colon cancer. He entered eternal rest on April 8, 2022, after staying in hospice. Rock will be greatly missed as he is survived by his loving wife Donette, children Al Chin, Sheryl (Jeffrey) Rhome, Alston (Katrina) Chin, Courtney Chin, Briannah Chin and Raquel Chin, stepdaughters Danielle, Mellesa, and Jessica, grandchildren Alecia Chin, Tay-Anthony Bennett, Jadah-Lee Bennett, Matthew Chin, Isaiah Chin, Zion Chin, Ysabela Rhome, I-Jah Chin, Maelynn Rhome and Niyah Chin, siblings Claudette, Max, Junior (Donna) Adams, Anthony, Paul, Pernell and Delgada, nieces, nephews, cousins, and frien
