Special Info  Christopher Delaney Hightower, was born to Rosa Lee Hightower and Willie S. Williams on January 19,1964, in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He later moved to Jamaica Queens, NY where he acquired the name C-High. Christopher was educated in the New York City Public School System. He attended Francis Lewis High School in Queens NY, where he excelled in History, Science & Math. He received his diploma in 1983. Christopher attended The August School of Counseling, in Bronx, NY. He graduated in 1998 as a certified counselor. During his years of employment as a certified counselor, Christopher was valued and respected as an employee and seen as a positive influence, helping to create and make lasting changes in the lives of those he counseled and worked with. Christopher possessed a strong work ethic and was a hard worker, a great team player and a stickler for punctuality. During his last years, Christopher was employed at Amazon and Parcel Service (UPS), where he was well liked, appreciated and respected for services well done. Christopher Delaney Hightower was also known as Laney, C-High, Cee, C-Lo & Chris to those who knew and loved him. To his family and community, these names stood for Trusted Protector, a role he fulfilled his entire life. Chrisptopher valued his family and the unity of his family. There was nothing more important than the well-being and safety of his family, with the exception of his relationship with God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, with whom he built a strong relationship with towards the end of his life. Christopher was a loyal man; family, friends and loved ones felt safe in his presence, knowing he would answer the call when needed. Chris knew how to handle circumstances and matters of the heart. He was humorous, smart and witty. He was a quick thinker and a fast talker. He had the keen ability to measure and assess people and situations quickly and he knew just how to move and just what to do. Christopher loved Italian food. Spaghetti, pizza and linguine were some of his favorite dishes, along with chocolate cake and barbecue potato chips. One of his favorite past times was reminiscing and telling stories from the 80's & 90's.. Christopher was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather and uncle. He enjoyed doting on his family. He was happiest when he was in the presence and surrounded by his family. Family, friends and loved ones will forever remember Christopher for his contributions, influences, the impact he had on the lives he touched, the sacrifices he made for his loved ones and for the legacy he left behind. Christopher Delaney Hightower, is survived by his loving mother, Rosa Lee Hightower, his father, Willie S. Williams; his loving children, Deandre, Damon, Dawn, and Dana (Hunter), Melana and Nina (Hightower); His loving siblings Kristal "Penny" Hightower-Tompkins, Bobby Tompkins (brother-in-law), Walter Williams, Raymond Riddick, Brian Isley, Kimberly Riddick and Lyvette Hollie; Nine (9) Amazing grandchildren; The mothers of his children Monique Hightower (former spouse) & Kelly Hunter; And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

i am sorry for the loss of my cousin laney. we are so sorry we could not be there for laney's home going service. just know our heart are with you, speaking for his father, willie s. williams, myself and all of us in alabama. know we love you and situations would not permit us to be there. god bless you and be safe.
