Ardon Alexis Farrell the husband of Joan Farrell and the son of late Melinda Farrell and Charles Phillips whom perceded him in death. Ardon was born on January 23rd 1942 in St Vincent and the Grenadine. Ardon was the second of six children. Ardon worked as a Merchant Seaman on a American ship name Petro Queen while living in St Vincent, when the ship docked in the United States in 1971 Ardon never boarded again.
Ardon lived in Brooklyn New York with his wife Joan Farrell of 57 year. Within this union 4 children were born. Ardon moved to the United States for a better opportunity and to provide for his family back home. Ardon was a very independent man and worked extremely hard. Ardon had a natural passion for living out loud he loved to dance, listen to music and of course have him a nice cocktail and a piece of candy. Not to mention he loved to dress and often considered the sharpest in the room. Ardon had a jokey spirit and would always find a reason to crack a joke! Laughter was his best friend. Ardon was a painter and a very good one he attended pel art school in Manhattan. Ardon has portraits of Martin Luther King Jr, Mayor Dinkins and his daughter Keisha he expressed himself through the art of painting.
Ardon took his last breath on August 2nd 2022 at Brookhaven Nursing Home in Far Rockaway where all the staff loved and cared for him the staff nicknamed him Candyman because he had to have his candy he has now joined his son curtis Selby, and lifetime buddy, brother and friend cordell westfield whom have perceded him in death. Ardons' life will forever be cherished in the lives of his children: Hezron and Josephine Gurley (Daughter in law), shem, Ardon aka (junior) ,Donnett and Brian samuels (son in law), Keisha and Edward Thomas (Son in law) his bonus (son) Mark Westfield (13 Grandchildren) Tiffany, Shem, Isaiah, Nia, Bryce, Mya, Sera, Fiona, Kewasi, Abednego, Zanette, Brandon, Leah. (5 Great Grandchildren) Nasir, Abasi, kamryn, Isaiah and cameron He also leaves to mourn his (8 siblings) Gloria , Leon, Andrew, Cynthia, Barnard, oldean, susan, kemuel and a host of nieces and nephews. He will forever be loved. |
