Kathleen Bush was born February 22, 1947 in Queens NY to David L. Williams and Lillie Mae Williams. She graduated from John Adams High School in 1965. A few years later she met Elijah Bush from Washington DC when he came to visit his cousins Maxine and Francine. After a short courtship they where married on December 7th 1968 The Wedding was done by the late Rev. Edridge Gittens at Rush Temple AME Zion Church. This union produces their only child Elijah Bush Jr.
Kathleen began attending The Tabernacle Of Prayer For All People Inc. where the late Apostle Johnnie Washington was Pastor. She accepted Christ as her Savior at the May 1984 Bible School Graduation.
Impressed by the level of Biblical knowledge the student body showed, she decided to enroll in The Tabernacle Bible Institute. In 1990 Kathleen started a ministry at Queens Hospital, Goldwater Hospital and Willoughby Nursing Home. In 1994 Kathleen started New Life Ministry Radio Broadcast. The year after 1995 Pastor Bush assisted Pastor Rosalind Fletcher in opening The Deliverance Tabernacle Of Prayer in Brooklyn NY.
After attending Tabernacle Bible Institute she went on to study at United Christian College where she received a double Masters Degree in Religious Education and Theology . A year later she received her Doctorate in Sacred Theology (S.T.D.) .She also received a PhD in Elemental Theology from St. Augustine's Theological Institute. She achieved this all while caring for her Parents who's health was in decline.
In November 1998 Pastor Bush founded God's Anointed Tabernacle Of Prayer For All People Inc. Shortly after Pastor Bush founded The Chosen Vessel Bible Institute. For the next 18 years she committed her life to helping those in need traveling across the country and other Countries as well such as Costa Rica and Zimbabwe.
On November 10th , 2016 she lost her husband of 47 years, soon after in 2017 her health began to decline and was taken care of by her son Elijah and her grandchildren Bianca and Elijah The 3rd. She shared many happy days growing closer to her Son and Grandchildren who loved her dearly . After 5 years of declining health she passed away peacefully at The Jamaica Hospital Hospice Department on August 14th 2022 . She was 75 years old.
Pastor Bush is survived by her son Elijah Bush Jr, her Grandchildren Bianca, Elijah Bush The 3rd her Great Grandchild Nyla and daughter in law Naomi. As well as many friends and family members. Thank You Kathleen Bush job well done.
