Special Info  Andrew Steve Codrington, fondly known as Seco or San, a handsome baby boy was welcomed into this world on July 9th, 1971 to Jerline & Rudolph Codrington. He was the fourth of eight children and grew up in Kingston and St. Catherine, Jamaica, where he attended John Mills All Age School and then transitioned to the infamous Purple & white high school; Kingston College. As a young boy in Jamaica, Andrew excelled in the Arts. He was exceptional at drawing, sculpting and cutting hair. He started out cutting & trimming his brother Garfield’s hair and in no time, he was cutting friends and neighborhood kids’ hair for a small fee. He was essentially an entrepreneur at heart. After completing Kingston College, he migrated to Queens, New York with the hopes of becoming an Architect, which was his mother’s dream for him. However, Andrew had a strong passion for barbering which he pursued instead. He had a barber friend who had migrated before him who was able to put him in connection with a Barbershop, where he officially began his career as a Barber. After many years, he transitioned into owning his own barbershop on Merrick Boulevard, and then briefly worked for his uncle Warren at Merrick Car service. During his free time, he enjoyed working out and, staying physically active. Andrew loved the finer things in life. He was a charmer and some may even call him “The Black Rico Suave”. Andrew was always smiling, he loved life and cherished his loved ones dearly. He was the peacemaker with a calm spirit and we miss him greatly. He is survived by his father Rudolph, brothers; Garfield, Kevin, Dayne (aka Jerry), Sisters; Angela (aka Sharon), Nadine, Karen (aka Suzie) & Samantha (aka Tina). Daughter Simone, Sons Devonte & Deandre Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. “Andrew!!” You will always be in our hearts and we LOVE YOU. May your soul be at rest & peace with God
