The funeral service for the late Clotilda V. Linton will be held at David Williams Funeral Home located at 108-20 Sutphin Blvd, Jamaica, New York on Wednesday February 15th 2023. The viewing begins at 10:00am and the service at 11:00am. The Burial for Clotilda V. Linton will be at Pinelawn Cemetery.

Special Info  It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of ClotildaV. Linton, 80 on Feburary 1st, 2023 at her home in Queens New York. Clotilda was born on April29th,1942 in the town of Layou in St Vincent, West Indies. As child, she was active in church. She migrated to the United States in 1970 for opportunities and a better way of life. She attended Medical Aid Training School, where she earned a dipolma as a certified nursing assistance to fullfil her passion of helping and caring for people. She enjoyed her career for many years and took pride in her work, providing compassion and dignity to her patients. She met her husband, Osmond Linton in New York, NY. She was a devoted, dedicated wife and affectionately nickmamed "Jenny". She was his loving wife for 46 years until her call to the Lord. She was an active member of the Brooks Methodist Church and choir. She loved to garden and spent most summers planting her favorite greens: calloloo/collard greens, fruit and herbs. Clotilda is survived by her husband Osmond Linton, stepdaughter, nieces, nephews , sister-in laws and brother-in laws and a multitude of family and friends. A celebration of Clotilda's life will be held at David Williams Funeral Service, INC. 108-20 Sutphin Blvd. Jamaica, New York 11435 on Feburary 15, 2023, at 10:00am, with burial following at Pinelawn Cemetry 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, LI NY. We mourn the loss of a wonderful woman who brought love and comfort to so many, but take comfort in knowing she has earned her angel wings.
