Special Info  On January 4, 1965, Adrian Brown graced our family with his arrival. The first born of the late Bobbie Lewis Brown and George Brown, Jr. in Birmingham, Alabama, Adrian made his presence known. When he was eight, he moved to Jamaica, Queens with his mother and younger sister. During his school years, Adrian participated in the Boy Scouts where he earned many merit badges by mastering the various skill areas. After graduating from Andrew Jackson High School, Adrian joined the United States Army National Guard, where he was honorably discharged. Shortly after leaving the Army, Adrian’s professional career began at the Bernard Finson Developmental Center. His plans were to retire from there next year. Adrian put his best foot forward in everything he did. He was caring and always wanted the best for those he cared about. Adrian was a strategist, a thinker and a God-fearing man. For a short time he was married to Andrea Belton. Although he never remarried, Adrian later met the late April Farrish and their union created the joy of his life, Jasmine. We who are left to remember Adrian are his siblings, Victoria Brown(Michael), Michelle Montgomery, and his brother Juan Brown; his aunts, BJ Brown (Tony), Robbie Kirkland (his mothers’ twin), Mary Montgomery and Gertrude Montgomery; his uncle O’Jay David Lewis; nieces Alyssa Star Brown, Jamie Brown, Shajuana Brown; two great-nephews, Makhi and Genesis Brown; cousins, friends and Keisha Ojeda, whom he lovingly called sis.
