The late Jason Godden viewing will be held at David Williams Funeral Home located at 108-20 Sutphin Blvd Jamaica Queens. The viewing hours are from 5-7pm following the funeral at 7PM.

Jason Orlando Godden was born on September 29, 1972 in Kingston, Jamaica.
He was the fourth child of Annette Godden (now known as Annette Kidd) and Lloyd Godden.
Jason spent his early childhood growing up in East Rural St Andrew under the watchful eye of his mother, grandmother, two older sisters and his brother. He received his foundational education at St Alloysius Primary and Calabar All Age Schools. At age twelve, Jason started a new life in the United States of America where he and his brother joined their mother and stepfather who had gone there six years earlier.
Jason attended Meyer Levin Junior High School and Wingate High School. He gave up his original plan of becoming an automotive technician in favor of pursuing music. His other passions were cooking and horse races.
Jason passed away suddenly on January 2, 2024 from a condition no one knew that he had. He is survived by his daughter Nieyana, his mother Annette, his sisters Brenda and Faith, his brother Maurice, and a host of half siblings, cousins and friends who will cherish his memory, dearly. |
