The Viewing for the late Anthony Sauders will be held in bklyn at Premier Baptist located at 1014 Utica ave corner of Tilden. The viewing will be from 4-7 Pm following the funeral services at 7Pm.
Mr. Saunders final resting place will be at Pinelawn Cemetery in Farmingdale NY.

Born October 22, 1960 to Violet Saunders in La Ceiba Honduras. At 9 years old Anthony migrated to the United States where he learn the teachings of the Lord at Premier Baptist Church. Anthony went his own way and got caught up in the ways of the world, after many years he came back to himself and in 1982 met a young lady by the name of Dorvin (Diana) James in La Ceiba, Honduras. After many years he returned to the United States and learned the skills of Handy Man at Phoenix House and was reunited with his first and last love Dorvin. In 1995 Anthony and Dorvin were united in Holy Matrimony. From that union they were blessed with two handsome sons, Anthony Jr. and Jonathan Saunders.
In 2003 at his mothers funeral Anthony gave his life to the Lord. He was baptized in 2004; and was later ordained as a Deacon.
In 2007 he was ordained as a Minister. Ten years later the Lord spoke to Pastor Robert Watler and Anthony was installed as Assistant Pastor to Premier Baptist Church where he remained until the day of Home-going.
Anthony was an avid student of the Bible. He enjoyed working in the church with the Youths and doing many repairs.
Anthony will forever be missed greatly by all who knew him.
Anthony leaves to mourn his beloved wife of 29 years (01/29/1995) Dorvin Diana Saunders, sons Anthony JR, and Jonathan. His aunt Faith Johnson, and two brothers Duane Saunders (Dawn); Enrique Cayasso (Hilda); also 3 sisters; Elvia Waddy, Sister Lidell Brooks-Johnson, Brindid Fisher; and his close friends Elson Johnson and Ernest Solomon. Mother-in-law Ena James and a host of aunts, brother-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins and his family at Premier Baptist Church. |
