Special Info |
Today, we gather to celebrate the life of Jean Pierre L. Sibblies, affectionately called “Pierre”, a shining soul who left us far too soon. Born on October 15th, 1980, in Queens, New York, and resided in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Pierre was a beloved son and father, Pierre's life was a testament to the power of love and community. Raised by his mother, Sonia Ferraro and loving grandparents, Melita and Lorenzo Ferraro, granny Rosa and Ms. Irene, his great grandmother, his great aunt Augustine Ferraro, His dad Peter Sibblies, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was truly blessed with a tribe of loving nurturing families and friends who nurtured his growth and spirit. His great-aunts and extended family surrounded him with love and support, showing him that he was never alone.
Pierre's curiosity and intellect led him to excel in school, from The Cambria Heights School for the gifted child, the Grace Lutheran School in Malverne, New York, Robert Stevenson School, and finally, City University of New York at LaGuardia College. His love for learning and exploration stayed with him throughout his life.
But Pierre's greatest joy was his family. As a doting father to Lorenzo and Jasmine, he poured his heart and soul into raising his children with kindness, compassion, and wisdom. He was very affectionate, playful and loving when it came to his children. He was a big kid at heart, always giving bear hugs and kisses to his children to let them know how much he loves them, he would bring back little trinkets and mementos from his trips to let them know they were always on his mind, and the kids knew him well. He treasured spending every moment he could with them and shared his love for his animals and video games with them. His love for animals, comic books and the natural world was a reflection of his gentle and caring nature.
Pierre may have left us suddenly, but his memory will live on through the countless lives he touched. His children, Lorenzo Sibblies and Jasmine Sibbles, his mother, Sonia Ferraro; father, Peter Sibblies and Kissandrea Brian.
Pierre and Elizabeth Torres were partners in life and business; he had an entrepreneurial spirit; he loved and cared for exotic animals, and was always showing them off to friends and family or at events. I would be remiss to not mention his pet, the Bearded Dragon Lizard, named Cloud. Cloud was one of the loves of his life. His passion for the business was very evident in his life.
Let us remember Pierre's bright smile, his infectious laughter, and his generous heart. May we honor his legacy by living with the same love, kindness, and compassion that he showed us all.
