The funeral for the late Michael Easter Jr. will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Merrick Baptist Church located at 120-02 Marsden St, Jamaica, NY 11434 The viewing will be held from 3-4pm followed by the service at 4pm. Please give your condolences to the Easter family.

Michael Easter, born on April 20, 1984, in Jamaica, Queens, to Denise Robinson and Michael Easter Sr., passed away peacefully on October 6, 2024, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was 40 years old.
Michael was a devoted father to his two beloved children, Fiona and Alana, who were his pride and joy. He met Fiona Walters in 2005, and together they created a loving family filled with adventure and laughter. Michael also adored his grandson, Daveon Sincere Easter, who brought him immense joy.
Growing up in various neighborhoods in Queens, Michael was an adventurous spirit who loved taking long bike rides with friends and his cousin, Darrell. He became a skilled plumber in 2009, dedicating himself to his work in New York City.
Michael had a deep passion for fishing, traveling, and BBQing, and was known for his incredible cooking skills. He cherished preparing meals for family and friends, often bringing everyone together around the table.
Despite being diagnosed with lung cancer while working in 2022, Michael’s resilience shone through. Initially given only six months to live, he fought bravely for two years, inspiring all who knew him with his strength and determination.
Michael is survived by his daughters, Fiona and Alana Easter; his grandson, Daveon Sincere Easter; his parents, Denise Robinson and Michael Easter Sr.; his sisters, Jessica Easter, Barbara Smith; his brothers, Jamel Robinson and
Equan William’s; his aunts, Diana and Sharon Robinson; his uncle, Larry Hunter; his friend, Missy, and her three loving children; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
