Special Info |
On Sunday, November 17, 2024, Kristina departed this life for eternal rest
Kristina Alycia Kirton was born on May 04, 1989, to Shirley & Loris Kirton. She attended the following Christian schools: Bethany Elementary, Bethel SDA, Greater New York Academy, Valley Stream Central H.S. and St John’s University on an Academic Scholarship.
She worked at several health care facilities. The last job was at NY Langone Hospital Orthopedic, as a Central Sterile Technician which she loved and cared deeply about her co-workers
Kristina was a computer queek constantly helping her father to navigate his I-Phone and laptop daily. We know as we speak, he is having issues with his phone right now. Kristina would be willing to extend an olive branch to anyone who was in need. Kristina had a love for animals to the extent that her home at one point was like a mini zoo with lizards, dogs, and several exotic birds all at one time. Currently she leaves behind her pal, her “daughter” her beloved dog Remy who will miss her unconditional love and touch.
Kristina and her mom Shirley had a mother daughter relationship that was inseparable, they were best friends and enjoyed each other’s company. They did bible study together, attending church together, and many church gatherings, loved dining out at TGI Friday’s after shopping. Loved watching Colombo on Saturday nights. And the usual New Year’s Eve marathon watching of the Honeymooners show.
Kristina had a special relationship with her younger brother Mathew, they were 15 months apart and shared a special bond. Mathew always thought Kristina was the best driver in the family, and at times would request her to drive him around. Even though he has a license and his own car. He knew how to make her stomach smile with a curry dish and a personal bottle of hot pepper sauce
Kristina has four older sisters; they cared deeply for each other. When they were younger and doing homework around the dining room table Kristina was right there with them with her crayons. They taught her how to read at a very early age.
Kristina was a child of God who had an unwavering faith and trust, she believed in Jesus Christ and excepted God as her Lord and Savior. At the age of 13 she was baptized this led to a focus and deep walk with God. She later became a member of the Linden Seventh Day Adventist church. She was an active member of the personal ministry and women’s ministry departments of the Linden church, she Loved her Church family, she would often watch Pastor Albury and Pastor Morgans sermon a second time late on Sabbath Nites just
to check if she missed anything. She found joy in reading her bible, and world history books.
She enjoyed watching and listening to her cousin John Lomacang on 3ABN daily. And the bible study of Pastors Randy Skeet, and Doug Batchelor
Kristina was very quiet, reserved and very private. She was loving and compassionate with the heart of old. She was and will forever be one of the greatest assets to our family, we love her and miss her so much. However, we will see her again on resurrection morning.
