The memorial service for the late Harold Waterman will take place on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at David Williams Funeral Service located at 108-20 Sutphin Blvd, Jamaica, NY 11435. The service will begin at 1pm. Please give your condolences to the Waterman family.

The life of Harold Waterman
Harold Waterman was born on June 20, 1936 to Zoe and Fred Als in Barbados, West Indies and departed this life on April 1, 2025. He has 3 siblings, Velda of Barbados, West Indies, Carmen of Queens, NY and Martin of Long Island, NY.
He immigrated to the United States in his 20s. He worked numerous jobs before joining the United States Air Force, where he served for 4 years. Upon leaving the Air Force he worked as an accountant and continued to complete tax returns until shortly before his death. He became a Corrections Officer for the state of New York and retired after 30 years.
Many people that knew him would agree that he lived his life according to his principles and it brought him joy. He was very sociable, and he liked to entertain friends and all whom he met. He was an active member of St Leonard's Anglican Church until his health started to fail.
He is mourned by his wife Norma, children Audra (Greg), Rashad, Scott who preceded him in death in 2015. He is also mourned by his children from a previous marriage Harold Jr (Patsy), Cecelia, Urbane (Iris), April, and Donna. He will also be missed by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and hosts of other family and friends.
