We are gathering today for the celebration of life of an amazing husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, cousin, and friend, Dennis Byron Bradley, who left this earth way too early on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in his home in North Carolina. Dennis was born on a late Thursday night on August 9, 1973, in Queens Hospital to the parents of Dennis Raymond Bradley (deceased) and Lydia Dunlap Bradley. It is in Queens (Da'Ville) and beyond where Dennis began building lifelong friendships with people who are here today saddened by his absence. However, the most important relationships Dennis cultivated and cherished was one as a loving and committed husband of MaChink and a devoted and compassionate father of AcQuan, Jaylin, Chynna, Jasmine, and Allaysia. Dennis brilliant spirit, radiant smile, compassionate heart and his keeping it real personality earned the respect and love of many. He was the "go to" to many when life got rough. Dennis was someone you were able to count on, and although he was a straight shooter, you were always able to get your point across without judgement and always provided sound advise. Dennis cherished his friendships, developing them at an early stage in life, with most lasting the remainder of his life. At the time of his transition he still had friendships that he developed in P.S. 251 and "Da'Ville" at 156 all the way through college at Virginia State into adulthood. His friendships encompassed all aspects of life, from phone call chats, to text messages, outings, to sharing formal to informal meals and entertaining to class reunions to adventures near and far to helping in times of sadness and difficulty. Dennis was hard working and dedicated. The last X years he spent working at the United States Postal Services where he earned his role as a supervisor. Despite his many responsibilities he always made time for his team "010" and co-workers. Dennis work ethic was unmatched and because of his ability to lend an ear or problem solve, he was known amongst many as "Camp Counselor". Although he earned the title of a supervisor, Dennis was already known for his leadership within the company. He built trust and provided support. He did this through his skill of active listening. Dennis had become a confidant for numerous peers, colleagues, and coworkers. Although Dennis did not like being the center of attention he deserves to have his long years of fatherly love honored. He had a unique way of showing his children tough love, however in the end he raised a beautiful family the only way he knew how. His unwavering support and belief in his children provided them confidence to chase their dreams and never give up. There is comfort in knowing Dennis legacy lives on through lessons he taught his children like hard work, perseverance and the importance of family. A message from his Children: "Dad you provided a clear view of GREATNESS. You showed us that through adversity and pain you stuck with our mother day and night during the most difficult times of her life". Dennis Byron Bradley was a man of loyalty. He was a man of strength and courage. He was also a man of amazing and tremendous wisdom. Though we mourn the loss of Dennis we celebrate the incredible life he lived. He leaves behind pained and heart broken; his wife MaChink, his children AcQuan, Jaylin, Chynna, Jasmine, and Allaysia. His Grandchildren AcQuan, Essence, and Journie. His loss is also felt by his mother Lydia, sisters Tamika, Sukara, Ronnie and Santana, nieces nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends.
