Special Info  Daisy Luscindia Burns was born May 29, 1958 in Brooklyn, New York to the Late Malachi Burns and the Late Mae Willa Burns. It was seven Children to this Union. Daisy was the youngest Child. Three Siblings preceded her in Death, Gloria (Sister) Niles, Mary Ruth (Vickie) Leeper and Malachi Burns, Jr. Daisy departed this life on May 18, 2019 at Sardis Oaks Adult Center in Charlotte, NC. Daisy accepted Christ at an early age. Daisy received her Bachelor of Science Degree from York College in New York and attended New York University Graduate School. She worked as an Editor and Journalist for the Queens Courier in New York and was an English Teacher at Piedmont Middle School in Charlotte, NC. Daisy at an early age began to travel throughout Europe, the Caribbean, South America and Hawaii. She was a great cook. Her Lasagna could not be matched, which she loved to cook at Christmas. She was a very organized, well-dressed lady. She was a Gifted Writer and a very Outspoken individual. She was also a Gifted Card Player. If you taught her a game, the next hour she would be beating you at it. The Love of Her Life was her Mother of whom she was an excellent Caretaker. She was known for her Prophetic Words. If she told you something, you just believe, it would come to past. Daisy loved the Serenity Prayer, “God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the Courage to change the things I can and Wisdom to know the difference.” Daisy leaves to cherish her memories: One Brother, Ezekial (Nick) Burns of Richmond, Virginia. Two Sisters, Jeanette Register of Harleysville, Pennsylvania and Pandora Burns of Jamaica, New York. Two Aunts, Josephine Solone of Brooklyn, New York and Ione Turner of Orlando, Florida and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
