Hilaria "Mona" Sylvester( David Williams Mother-In-Law of David Williams Funeral Service) passed away on December 6th, 2019. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at the Presbyterian Church of St. Albans located at 190-04 119th Ave (corner of 190th Ave) in St. Albans, NY. There will be a viewing from 9-11am immediately followed by a service at 11am. Everyone is invited to join the family for a repast immediately after the service downstairs in the church fellowship hall.

Special Info  The death is announced of Hilaria Angelina “Mona” Sylvester   of Happy Hill, St George’s, Grenada , who passed away on Friday, December 6th in New York.  She was the wife of the late Ambrose “Henson” Sylvester and the mother of 11 children. She leaves to cherish her memory:  Littan Pascal and daughter- in -law Dr. Jessie Henry who reside in St. Andrews, Noreen Radix in Beausejour,  Dexter Sylvester  in St Andrews, Garvin and Neil Sylvester in Happy Hill, Sandra Romain in USA, Pauline Williams and her husband David Williams in USA,  David and Sylvia Sylvester in  USA and Danfield Pascal and his wife Ina  in USA. Her daughter Marilyn Sylvester preceded her in death.  Ten siblings: Cecilia “Urith” Emmons in Venezula,  Lucy “Junnie” Noel  in  Canada, Michael  Julien in USA, Rena Newton in USA,  Veronica Joseph in  USA, Beryl in UK, Roy Newton in UK, Ann in UK, Pearl, Reuben and Levi in Carriacou: 24 grand children, 16 great grandchildren,  35 nieces and nephews and  brother -in -Law Johnson Sylvester.  Cousin, Willa Lessey and family, the Sandy and  Emmons  family of Happy Hill, the Sylvester family of  Happy Hill and Molinere, Henry Family,  and many other family and friends too numerous to mention. Mona was a member of the Charismatic Prayer group of the church of the Uganda Martyrs in Happy Hill.    The New York funeral service for the late Mona Sylvester will be held on Saturday December, 21st at the Presbyterian Church of St. Albans,  190-04 119th Avenue, Saint Albans, New York.  The viewing will be from 10-11 am followed by the service.   The body will be taken to Grenada for interment.
