Special Info |
Doniesha Elesha Goodings aka known as Dee, was born on June 13, 1982 to Donna
Goodings and the late Elijah Williams, in Tempe St. George’s Grenada. She attended
St. Louis RC School. She migrated to the USA on December 20, 1994. She attended
PS 391 and Paul Robinson high school where she studied business. From there she
attended the University of Buffalo, NY. and obtained her degree in business.
After completing college she worked at UPS Shipping and Wine Shipment, where she
was quickly promoted to supervisory position where she was admired and respected by
her manager and co-workers. In addition she had a second job as a security guard
which was her passion for helping others.
Growing up Doniesha was always an ambitious, energetic and private person, she
mainly kept to herself. She was somewhat a loner but never missed the opportunity to
show kindness, loyalty and genuine friendship to her family, friends, and all those who
she came in contact with. And those qualities she carried into her adult life. She was
the type that would give you the shirt off her back and went out of her way to make you
laugh and make you feel encouraged no matter what your situation was.
Doniesha enjoyed traveling, nature, the beach, Grand anse beach in Grenada was her
absolute favorite. She loved to laugh and would entertain you with her comedic sense
of humor. Not to mention how much of a Foodie she was. If the food was good she was
there and spared no pennies in buying the food she enjoyed. Infact, even in the
hospital she would request her mother’s cooking or send her relatives to buy, bring or
order her favorite foods.
Doniesha's love and relationship with her mother was a very special bond. She was the
daughter that every mother hoped for. She made sure that her mother never wanted for
anything and her mother would move mountains for her. Especially during the
pandemic, she insisted on ordering vitamins and all the necessities that her mother and
other relatives needed to stay well and be safe. She would even pay for an uber for
them to travel back and forth to the hospital. She was just that type of loving, loyal and
caring person.
Doniesha had a very personal relationship with God. She was introduced to God by her
deceased father, mother & stepmother. And she never forgot to give God all the thanks
and praise in spite of her pain and illness. Towards the end she would cry out to God
saying “God I know you love me and you will never leave me”. I know God heard her
cries and praise, even at the end. May her soul RIPShe left to mourn: her beloved mother Donna Goodings Blackburn; Step Father
