Christopher Bullen aka Christopher Henry and “Uncle Chris,” was born on March 09, 1958, to Fitz Henry and Cynthia Bullen. He was the last male sibling in the family. As a child, he attended St. George’s Anglican Junior and Senior School. During his young adult years, he developed a hobby for long distance running. However, he was an average runner but he was able to outrun some of his strongest opponents and won some long-distance races. As time passed, he became very interested in culinary skills and had a passion for cooking and baking. After work, he attended cooking and baking classes, even though he was the only male figure in these classes. He also learned to bake and ice birthday, anniversary and wedding cakes. 1979 – 1983, he was employed at the Royal Bank of Canada, where he worked as a Foreign Exchange Clerk; however, he resigned from the bank and went into government service. In 1984 to 1986, he was employed as a Corrections Officer, at the Grenada Prisons. Chris also developed yet, another hobby, sewing. He took a part time job sewing tourist shirts. There, he met his wife of 35+ years, Mary. After a few years of courtship, Mary accepted his proposal for marriage. They were engaged in May, 1985 and tied the knot seven months later, in December, 1985 and almost three years later, their family extended with the birth of their daughter, Casima. Approximately, 10 years afterwards, their family extended once again, with the birth of a second daughter, Monet. 1986 – 1990, he was employed with George F. Huggins Grenada Ltd, at Independent Agencies. There, he worked as the Sales Manager and Store Keeper. In 1991, they migrated to the United States. He did odd jobs in construction. On his days off, he attended classes in the medical field, where he worked directly with people with various disabilities. 2000 to April 6, 2021, Christopher returned to construction due to the high cost of caring for his family. He worked with Local 721, for a few years, until the 911 terrorist attack, at the World Trade Center, in Manhattan, New York. He was a hard worker and took his job very seriously. He also participated in the cleanup, at Ground Zero. Afterwards, he continued in the field of construction but with his very own business in Home Improvement. Chris was very energetic, hardworking, trustworthy, reliable and a VERY proud “girl dad.” He loved his daughters tremendously. Christopher left behind to mourn, his wife of 35+ years, Mary, two daughters, Casima and Monet. One Aunt, Eileen Henry, in Tempe, St. George’s. Two sisters, Paula Henry and Glenna Jeremiah. Four brothers, McDonald Bullen, Rayanson Bullen, Carlton Bullen and Frank Moore. Nephews includes, Daniel Swan, Absalom (Kelvin) Henry, Randy Lewis, Evelyn Bullen, Randall, Adrian, Lashley, Carle, Kendall, Henry and Gabriel Moore and Collin Morris. Nieces are Marsha, Marcella and Karen. Grand nieces and nephews include, Merissa, JJ, Shanea aka Emmy, Mercedes, Montel, Danique and Kaya. Brothers in law, Oscar Jeremiah, Cecil and Christopher Peter. Sisters in law, Marilyn Bullen, Glenna Moore, Elizabeth Forsyth, Pansy Hosten and Gail Austin. Other relatives and friends, including the Henry and Bullen Family of La Borie and St. Paul’s, Celia Samuel and Family, Ronnie Jeremiah, Arthur and Hoyt Olliverre, in Grenada. Sonia Olliverre in Brooklyn, New York. Pastor Motombo (Matthew) Jeremiah, in St. Vincent. Sister Ann and Brother Christopher Peterkin, in Boston Massachusetts. Sister Lucy Johnson and Dwayne Johnson, Sister Hamilton aka Mother Hammie, Sister Roslyn Frame, Sister Carmen Wilson. Veron Richards-Davis, in Brooklyn and Pastor Hannah Gibbs in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. Also, Ms. Judith, his Boss Oren Neria and Michal, in Brooklyn, New York.
