Special Info  Harrieth's Obituary Harrieth Adina Wilson aka Dina was born on February 26, 1946 in Guyana, South America. She was the first child to the now deceased Stephen and Pearl Welcome. She grew up in Stanleytown Village, WBD, where she attended LaRetraite Church of Scotland School. She was also a member of Benevolence Congregational Church in Guyana. Harrieth was the eldest of her siblings. Orren and Gladwyn Welcome, Deslyn Collins and the late Flavian and Lucius Welcome. Harrieth married Ovid Wilson and their union produced two children the late Leyland and Pearl Wilson. She later met Fredrick Williams and together they had eight children Keith and Marcia Williams, Luanna Bascomb, Kevil, Shirlon, Jomaul and Jason Williams, and our departed Simone Williams. As a mother to ten children, she gained twenty-six grandchildren. Dexter, Lennox, Devon, Tuanieha, Keith Jr, Teron, Raunata, Takesha, Carlcia, Christopher, Christal, Keon, Kiana, Kelon, Kezia, Kenia, Kalissa, Brielle, Lillian, Kingston, Keron, Kiara, Shyla, Nicholas, Zion, and Nasiem. In addition, she had seventeen great grandchildren. Harrieth migrated to the USA in 1990 with her children. As a single parent she worked very hard to maintain a home for her family. She was employed for many years as a personal care assistant, taking care of children in her client’s home. Eventually opening a small daycare in her home and provided services to people in the community. Harrieth loved the lord and faithfully could be found reading her bible every morning before starting her day. She was a devoted member of Risen Waters Sanctuary Church. She was a wonderful homemaker and was known for her delicious dishes, especially her souse and chowmein. Harrieth has left to mourn her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, son- in law’s, daughter-in laws, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and church members all too much to mention. Harrieth we thank you for every laugh, hug, kiss, warm plate of food, prayer, words of encouragement and especially the shelter that you provided as we endured life’s storms. Even for the things that were unseen, and the times we may have not been the most grateful you did them anyway. You are and will always represent a mother’s true love.
