Special Info  Leon Junior Duhaney affectionally known as “Keno” was born on October 27, 1986, to Roan & Leon Duhaney in the Parish of St. Catherine, Jamaica West Indies in Spanish town hospital. He was the first-born child to the two, so it was only right that he became a Junior, taking after his father. Unlike other newborns, Leon Junior has had the luxury of living in multiple countries such as St. Lucía & St. Vincent before the age of 6, due to his father’s work. He started preschool in St. Lucia. While overseas in the Caribbean he was able to travel to countries such as Barbados with his mom and other parts of the Caribbean. By 6 years old, Leon Junior moved to America with his mother and father Roan & Leon Duhaney to pursue the American dream. After Roan & Leon Duhaney moved to America Leon Junior then found his forever home, Queens Ny. Growing up he loved his food. He loved his food so much, he once aspired to be a chef. He participated in many activities. Leon Junior was a black belt in karate. In just a few years, after coming to America, he welcomed his two younger sisters Shantel & Kayden Duhaney along for the ride. Keno took his big brother role serious. He was as protective as they come. He would often joke that no one can mess with his sisters but HIM and boy did he mean that. If his sisters needed anything he was always right, there. Constantly checking up on them, ordering them around of course out of love & always encouraging them to stay on top of their health. It didn’t matter what they needed, if he could make it happen, he always did. He’d often say, “I don’t care if I have to go into my savings, I will, because my sister needs it”. Whenever he’d see his youngest sister Kayden, he never failed to make her interest & hobbies feel seen. The two of them would often bond over the latest Anime, marvel movie, etc. Leon Junior attended Springfield Gardens High School. He was everyone’s big brother in high school, especially for the bowling team. He was quiet but if his teachers or the younger kids needed him, he was there. If he saw that you needed a friend he’d go above and beyond to show you that you could talk & reach out to him. In high school is where he gained the nickname “Gentle Giant”. In high school he also played on the wrestling team. Ironically, people who didn’t meet him in high school would also refer to him as the “Gentle Giant”. Leon was such a thoughtful man. Many would think his love language was receiving gifts because he loved to give them out so much. If he knew you were into something or saw you needed something, it would be on your door step the next morning. After high school Leon went on to begin his college education at Queens Community College & then Morrisville State University. He then fell into his lifelong career as a Security Guard with Allied Universal Security Services. This comes as no surprise being that Leon Junior always had a protective aura & energy connected to his personality. In his spare time, he loved to collect colognes & go to movies every Tuesday. There is not one marvel movie out there that he has not seen. There is also not one top scent for men that he does not own. He loved to crack jokes and share them with his friends to brighten up their day. Leon Junior was also very big into his technology. Countless times his family would call on him when they would have technical problems. Somehow, some way he always knew what to do to fix it. He will be greatly missed by so many people. He was always one phone call away for the ones he loved & that is something his loved ones will cherish forever. Leon Junior leaves behind his mother Mrs. Roan March & Father Mr. Leon Duhaney who loves him dearly, his two little sisters Shantel & Kayden, aunts, uncles, & a host of cousins. Other than family he leaves behind his best friends & awesome co-workers.
