AFFECTIONATELY CALLED MAMA MA LEE.BORN 8/15/1943 TO FITZ MELHADO AND MYRTLE COLE IN BROWNS HALL ST CATHERINE JAMAICA WI
SHE ATTENDED THE BROWNS HALL BASIC school and the BROWNS hall primary school after which she worked at various jobs as well as dedicating some years to assist her aunt and family
To settle after their return from England.
She then worked at the metal box in Spanish town before migrating to the United States in 1971 where she lived with her uncle Cornelius French aka uncle B until she found her feet and left in her late 20's.
While in the US SHE worked at the Waldorf Astoria and then at Flushing hospital medical center as a certified nursing assistant until she left In 1999.
She was well loved and had lots of friends .Her hobbies were entertaining and travelling.she traveled to such places as England ,France costa Rica Nigeria,Bahamas,Canada Puerto Rico she also loved cruises.while she lived she lived.
Over the years she suffered I'll health which had taken a toll over the years
Until she transitioned on 5/21/22
In the arms of her husband Lascelles.
She died leaving husband lascelles daughter Yvette and Paulette(her auntys daughter who she raised) brothers Maxwell dennis errol sisters Winnie pauline Jennifer and a host of nieces and nephews cousins and friends.
May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace!
