Special Info |
We are heartbroken to announce the death of our father/grandfather and friend to many Mr. Leroy Diggs born in Edgefield, South Carolina.
His parents Charlie and Danchia Diggs predeceased him. He transitioned into his eternal rest peacefully on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at the age of 91 one day before his 92nd birthday surrounded by his family.
Leroy enjoyed many activities such as living his life for Christ, going to Church and praising God. He thoroughly enjoyed his Custodial position working at the school and Nursing facility.
He loved people and took pleasure in spending time at the beach, listening to music (his playlist was crazy) and he loved to get dressed up. He enjoyed his manicure and putting on his favorite cologne. He would say this makes the ladies come- (He was A LADIES MAN).
Leroy leaves to mourn his
Children: John Vernon Diggs and Regina Lee Diggs.
Step Children: Rodney Braziel, Derrick Miles, and Tracy Grier.
Grandchildren: Tiffany Grier, Katrinya Leonard, India Braziel, Octavia Bellamy, Tylo Carter
Great-Grandchildren: Beautiful, Isaiah, Kayden, Miracle, Quaron Nance, Hunter Braziel, Nori Sage, Tylo Jr.
Dad was unique and had his own way of doing things. He was joyful and happy to pray for everyone he came into contact with. He was happy to be Ambassador for God.
Leroy’s Granddaughter, Trina, expresses her love and would like her family and friends to know, “My Papa wasn’t just my Grandfather, he was my Best Friend, my Superhero without him there would be no me. I would drop anything for him at ANYTIME !!! I’m so grateful that God chose me to be your granddaughter. Love You, Poppa |
