Gloria Peters-Penny was born April 09, 1950, in St Andrews, Grenada to Dalton Francois and Jennife Peters.
Gloria migrated to Trinidad and Tobago at the tender age of seven. She lived in Tunapuna with her mother, Step-father Titus Sebro and three brothers Milton, Donald and Walter. Gloria was known to everyone as Velma and inherited the “pet” name of Vee.
In her childhood years, she attended Eastern Girls RC School and Tunapuna Government School. Vee met Lennie Etienne in the earlier part of her life when they had their firstborn Learie and later Lennon. She went on to work at Metal Box Factory where she developed a lot of priceless friendships. Velma and her sons eventually migrated to the USA where they embraced their new home. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked at various institutions where she retired at CAB’s Nursing Home. Vee was a very diligent, hard-working woman who sacrificed for the betterment of her family. Throughout her journey in life, she made numerous long-lasting relationships. She was kind-hearted, soft-spoken, shy, and gave unconditional love to everyone that knew her. Movie-going, going out to dinner with family and friends, traveling, sewing, 5 am sea baths were among some of the few activities that this little lady enjoyed doing. Vee was a very Spiritual woman who developed a profound relationship with the Lord. She leaves a legacy filled with love laughter and honest friendships.
Gloria leaves to mourn her Son Learie Sr. Daughter-in-law Wendy. Grandchildren Learie Jr, Lennon Jr, Lyndon, Jordan, and Kyron. Brothers Milton, Donald, and Walter. Sister-in-laws Lorna, Clarice and Agnes.

Aunts Gemma, Evelyn, Muriel. Uncles Francis, and Leslie. Nieces and Nephews Solange, Kimberly, Omar, Jenelle, Christopher, and Kyle.
