He was born February 18,1963 in New York,NY. He had a Public School education.
He attended Art and Design High School in New York City. He had aspirations of becoming a graphic artist. Afterward he had a brief stint in the United States Marine Corp.
At a young age he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour and was baptized at St John Baptist Church of Jamaica,NY. Over the years he began studying Christianity.
My brother made a living in Retail Management and Sales. But his heart was forever entrusted to Jesus. He was ordained as a Minister. He oversaw Prayer, Praise and Worship Ministries media ministry (radio and prayer phone line). Minister Wyatt Floyd Jr. was a great man, honest, honorable and reliable in any situation. He was very dependable as well.
Minister Wyatt Floyd Jr. was predeceased by his parents father Wyatt Floyd Sr (2011) and mother Queen V. Floyd (2000). He leaves to mourn a daughter Bettina J. Baskerville and a son Preston J. Floyd, 3 grandchildren Kynieshia S. Baskerville Croswell, Jainecia R. Baskerville Croswell, Rasheen A. Croswell Jr., Rasheen C. Oliver Jr.
4 Sisters Sharon Floyd-Wright (Henry), Greta Floyd-Small (James), Pamela Brown, and Tresa Floyd and 1 brother Andre Small and 1 adopted brother Colvin Reese, nieces and nephews, 1 Uncle Earl Burns and several Aunts and a host of cousins, friends and neighbors.
He will truly be missed.
