The viewing for the late Orlton Phillips will be held at St Mark's Episcopal Church on friday 9/16/22 located at 1417 Union Street Brooklyn. Viewing will be from 5-7 following the service at 7 Pm.

Special Info  Orlton A. Phillips, also known as Charles Phillips to friends and family, transitioned to the afterlife on September 7, 2022. He grew up in Uitvlugt, West Coast Demerara, Guyana, South America. He was the fifth of nine children born to Emmanuel and Mary Phillips. Six of his brothers, Herman, Metford, Ralph, Ivor, Samuel, and Emmanuel, have preceded him in death. He is survived by his brother Edward and his sister Magdalene, known as Gem. He was married to Valerie Phillips, and seven children were born in that union. His wife and two sons preceded him in death. He is survived by his sons, Neil, Ray, Ralph, and Charles, and his daughter, Greer. Leland Macbeth is a family friend that has always been considered a son and member of his family. His grandchildren are Jenelle, Yannick, Neil Jr., Yohance, Briana, Niffy, Eugenia, Jarrell, Chade, Eugene, Neil, Ray Jr., Jahme, Davina, Savanah, Nicholas, Joshua, chevaughn, Latitia, Latifah, David, Michael, Dakara, Makeva and Jelani. He was also blessed to have numerous great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Madison, Christian, Carter, Arielle, Jiana, Jaylen, Jonathan, Amaya, Azael, and Armello. Nickoli, Nyera, Jhayden, Jhanae, Jeremiah, Jaelani, and Gabriel. He was an uncle to many, a few of whom preceded him in death. Those left to mourn his loss are Herman, Denise, Debbie, Mark, Janice, Lynne, Mark, Cecile, Melissa, Wayne, Trevor, Marcia, Aeshia, Asani, Kim, Yonnette, Paul, Melissa, and Monique. His great nieces and nephews are Nyla, Mya, Dante, Kenzo, Aniya, and many others. He is also survived by numerous cousins, the Wilsons, Campbells, Gomes families, and many others.
