The funeral for the service of the late Cherie Edwards will be held at 108-20 Sutphin Blvd, Jamaica, NY 11435, the viewing will beginning at 10am following the service at 11am. The body of Cherie Edwards will be cremated.
The family of Cherie Edwards would like to express their gratitude and appreciation for all acts of love and kindness during their time of bereavement.

Cherie Edwards was born in South Jamaica, to Dorman Calvin Edwards and Juanita Elizabeth
Edwards. Cherie Edwards leaves behind some Moran, her mother Juanita Edwards. Siblings as
follows: Lisa Edwards, Abdul Malik "Dwayne", Gina Edwards. Nieces & Nephews: leashya
Somerville, Shamesha Edwards, Dwayne Edwards, Shanita Shamburger, Dominic Edwards,
Terrell Thomas Edwards, Tijuan Edwards, Aminah Mainor, Shanifah Mainor, Kabriya Malik,
Jennah Malik. Great nieces and nephews: Corey, Jahrule, Cartier, Joely, Jackson, Jaimie, Samia,
Amaya, Isa, Dwayne Jr, Samani, Zuri, and Asahd. Aunts: Sheila Edwards, Jackie Edwards, Joan
Edwards. A host of cousins, and a bestfriend Peanut a.k.a. Luther.
Cherie was best known as Smokey since she was 15yrs of age. Cherie had a wonderful sense of
humor. Smokey enjoyed laughing, dancing ,and cooking. After many years of preparing some
the best meals, Cherie was extremely proud of the degree she recently obtained in culinary
school. Her love and concern for family exemplified the true meaning of family. From spoiling
her nieces and nephews, to the closeness to her siblings, undying love for her mother Juanita
Edwards. Also, a inseparable relationship with her cousin Shaun Edwards who played a huge
part in her life.
Life without Cherie will be difficult to bare, but we will not be selfish as God has called you
home where there is nothing but peace. You have received your wings, so we won't cry, we will
rejoice as God has asked of us. You will always be missed and remembered. Our loving sister,
friend, and family member Cherie Edwards, you have been entered into the kingdom of God. So
long for now, our beautiful loved one
