The funeral service for the late Karen D. Moore will be held on Thursday ,March 9th 2023 at David Williams Funeral service, located at 108-20 Sutphin Blvd, Jamaica, New York.
the viewing begins at 5:00pm and service at 6:00pm.
the final resting place for Karen D. Moore will be on Friday March 10th at Plainlawn Cemetery.

Karen Dennis Moore was born on September 25, 1960, in Jamaica Queens, New York to Zenia Mae Monroe-Moore and Frank Moore. Karen was an honor student, while she attended the NYC school system she earned a diploma from ForrestHills High School
As a young woman, Karen realized NYC was not offering her the education she desired so off she when to stay with a relative in North Carolina. Karen began her studies at Fayetteville State University. She found it hard to be away from home. Karen developed hard-working habits which made her driven to be the best in her class. Karen finished her education and stayed in N.C., working many jobs. She longed for her family and New York City!
Karen, soon found her place working for New York City's ACS and other agencies where she enjoyed long and hard working hours. Karen tried to in still the value of education to family and friends, Karen also enjoyed a good party, if it was your birthday she made sure you had a great time. Karen's work caused her to become ill, and she retired as a Social worker.
Karen's busy life didn't produce any children, her father Frank Moore preceded her 1984 and mother Zenia Mae Moore who preceded in 2013, sister Patricia Monroe, preceded her in 2000, brother Frank Moore Jr. preceded her in 1999 and a nephew Derrick Moore, preceded her in1989.
Karen, leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memory: a brother Rickey Moore, sister Joanne Moore, nieces Candice Moore, Natasha Narchet, Brittany Moore and nephews Christopher Moore, Jomar Moore, and a host of cousins and friends.
