The funeral service for the late Napoleon L. Bouyer Jr. will be held on Thursday March 30th 2023, at 65 Putnam Ave. Brooklyn, NY.

Special Info  On March 24, 1954, Napoleon Bouyer Jr. was born to Napoleon and Flossie Mae Bouyer in Georgetown, Georgia. He was the oldest of nine children. In 1959 Napoleon moved to New York with his parents and two younger sisters, when he was five years old. Napoleon was very athletic. In the late 1960s Napoleon was a Cub Scout and also a softball player for his church Saint Mary's. Napoleon graduated from Easton district high school where he played football ran track and also met his high school sweetheart Lynnette Winfield. After graduating high school in 1972, Napoleon and Lynnette married. Together they had five children. Napoleon had a host of jobs. His main job was a sanitation worker. in the early 80s Napoleon was a part of a Social Club called the renegades for which he also played softball with. In 2008 Napoleon began working as a janitor at the Masonic Temple, where he later became a mason. In March 2021 Napoleon found out he had colon cancer and he was already in stage four. He had to have multiple surgeries. After a 2 year hard fought battle he succombed to his illness. On March 22, 2023 Napoleon Bouyer Jr. was called home week and a half later at Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn. Napoleon is survived by his wife, Lynnette Bouyer, his children, Robert, Nerissa (Kevin) Yolanda (Kevin Selman), Janell, Jayson (Danielle) and Napoleon III aka Matt. 19 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. 5 sisters Alma Bouyer-Stewart, Gail Bouyer (Kevin), Theresa Bouyer (David), Thelma Hart (Leo) and Hope Bouyer. 2 brothers Larry Bouyer and Gregory Bouyer. His mother-in-law Bertha Winfield, sister-in-law Karen Winfield and James Winfield his brother-in-law. A host of nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews. Napoleon is preceded in death by his mother and father Flossie & Napoleon Bouyer, his 2 younger sisters Lisa Thomas and Vanessa Alexander, his father in-law James Winfield, brother in-law Jerome Stewart and Samuel Winfield, Debra Sumner sister in-law and his grandson Adonis Bouyer.
