Tedrick Leon Brown was born on July 13, 1963 in Brooklyn, NY to parents Vallie (Brown) Guillary and Robert Brown.
Tedrick was known as Ted to everyone. He was well known in Queens due to his personality and gift of gab.
Ted loved life. Always going places with his outgoing sister Jean: bowling, golf, Atlantic City, etc. He would celebrate his birthday every year with a cookout. He was looking forward to celebrating his upcoming birthday, the Big 6-0, on July 13th. but God had a different plan for him to celebrate in His kingdom.
Ted was a Christian. He was dedicated to going to church from a young age. He was baptized at the age of eleven at Holy Trinity Church in Brooklyn by Reverend Burson. He knew the word of God. He joined a church on our block Restoration Power and Faith Ministries under Pastor Filbert Clarke. He dedicated himself to maintaining the church. Opening and closing the church for services. He even received a Certificate of Appreciation for Dedication to the Ministry on December 23, 2006.
Ted wanted to become a Deacon after taking classes. He was ordained by Bishop Gregory Tucker on January 15, 2015. He received a Certificate of Ordination. Ted served the Lord faithfully. He made a request that he wanted Bishop Gregory Tucker to officiate his final rites at One Way Church of Christ. Today June 11th his request was granted.
Ted passed away in Queens General Hospital of a short term illness on June 8, 2023. He will be missed by many but his memories will live on.
Ted leaves to cherish his memories his mother Vallie Guillary, father Robert Brown, stepfather Lester Paul Guillary. Sisters: Tonjean Brown, Shanique Dudley, Tashaunia Guillory & Anika Brown. Brothers: Antron Brown, Lester (June) Guillory, Michael Guillory. Brother in laws and sister in laws. A host of nieces, nephews, friends and special friend Lynn Cradlyn
