Some of her favorite her hobbies were knitting crocheting and cooking. She loved giving gifts that she had crocheted herself to her family. She also enjoyed attending social functions at her church and community center.
Vera was preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Johnson, Alice Terrell, and Loretta Morgan. And two brothers, Lamar, and Clarence Johnson.
Her memories will be lovingly, cherished by her devoted grandson, David Leon Brown and his wife Aiyana Brown, her daughter Doris Brown and her great grandson Elijah Brown.
