The funeral for the late Robert Taylor Jr. will take place on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at David Williams Funeral Service located at 108-20 Sutphin Blvd, Jamaica, NY 11435. There will be a viewing from 1:00pm to 2:00pm immediately followed by the funeral at 2:00pm.

Robert Taylor Jr. known to many as Russell or Shabazz was born on September 23, 1965 in Savannah, Georgia to Robert Sr. and Rosa Taylor.
Russell moved to New York with his parents in 1967 where he later attended PS 147Q, Linden Jr High, and Andrew Jackson High School.
Russell prided himself on being an excellent Barber with lots of clientele. He had a humorous personality with an infectious smile. He loved playing the drums, listening to music, dancing, and had a fascination with Motorcycles.
Russell leaves to mourn Robert Taylor Sr. (father), Rosa Taylor (mother), sister Theresa (Steve) Mann, Reggie Anderson (brother), 2 daughters, Felitia Wilson, and Quintella Taylor, 1 son, Nyzaiah Taylor, 1 son-in-law, Woodrow Wilson, 3 nieces, Shantoya, Ashley, and G’naya Mann, 2 nephews, 4 grandchildren, Heaven and Honor Wilson, Taniyah, and Xayiela, 1 great-nephew, Kyrie Figueroa, and a honorary brother-in-law Gary Mann, also a host of Aunts, Uncles and close friends. |
