Special Info |
Ivoline Taylor was born on March 24, 1948, in Omely, Jamaica West Indies, she was the daughter to the late Iman Taylor & Violet France. She was a mother of four (4) children: Clifton, Wayne, and the late Patrick & Dionne (“Dawn”); in addition, a grandmother, aunt, sister and a devoted friend to many. Though Ivoline faced profound loss of her parents and children in recent years, she remained a beacon of strength and resilience.
Ivoline, or “Qutie” as she was known by many people, was determined to create a brighter future. She moved to New York City in 1979 to pursue personal growth and professional opportunities seeking a better life for herself and family. After years of hard work as a home health aide, dedicating her life to helping others, she made a lasting impact on her patients and colleagues. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel valued and loved regardless of their age. Qutie loved being around neighborhood friends, valued quality time with the ones she loved, and her friendships were a testament to a generous spirit. Qutie’s zest for life inspired many and her legacy of love, family and friendship will continue to resonate in the hearts of those she touched. Throughout her life, Qutie faced numerous challenges with unwavering determination and positive spirit. She maintained an uplifted spirit by making jokes, sharing stories, and was very direct with everyone around. Her appreciation of life never diminished no matter the circumstance. Qutie will be dearly missed by all and we take comfort in our memories and the impact she made on our lives.
Our Angel will guide: Clifton, Wayne and preceded by: Patrick (son) and Dawn (Daughter), whose spirit lives on in the memories we cherish. Her Sisters: Taisburn (Cynthia), Orinthia (Anta), Ilene, Millicent, Madge, & Rose; Brothers: Casel & Trevor; Granddaughter: Taylor; and countless nieces and nephews along with a host of other loving relatives and friends.
